My current project involving ultra-bright turn signals. Still being constructed!

Three LED turn signals in their infancy. I just pulled these out of the "acid" etch tray. Looks beautiful doesn't it?

Now that I've got the boards cut and the vias (those are the holes) drilled, it's time to start assembling!

Amber 70 mA Lumileds installed. 15 total for each turn signal. These bad boys are BRIGHT!

As you can see here, the low profile LEDs and the PCB are only the height of 4 pennies. After soldering, the height will be about 5 pennies.
